Obsolete 0922 - 804-4 Removing Children from CHIP

Effective to August 31, 2022

Children can be removed from CHIP without changing the renewal period as long as there is one eligible child still open on the case.

1. When an eligible child becomes ineligible for CHIP, remove the child from the CHIP case giving 10 day notice.

2. If an eligible child moves from one CHIP household to another household, the child may remain on the previous household’s case until the end of the 12 month renewal period.
