804-1 Change of Address

When an enrollee reports a change of address or information is received through electronic verification update the case record with the new information, 10 day notice rules apply. If the change is obtained through electronic verification and shows the member is living in another state attempt to locate the member according section 803-2. If the member reports they have moved out of state, the case can be closed without 10 day notice.

If correspondence was mailed to the wrong address, resend the mail to the new address. If you receive returned mail with no report a new address, see Section 803-2.

Request any other information needed to determine the effect of the change.

When a household reports a change of address, ask the household if they want to register to vote. See Section 101 for further information and instructions.
